ARTHRITIS ISSUES

Welcome to the arthritis issues section of the RehabMatters Website.

This entire section is focused on providing information on arthritis for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Arthritis

The health of over 66 million people in the USA and over 7 million people in the UK is affected by arthritis. There over 200 types of arthritis or related conditions and children as well as adults can be affected. Arthritis is a worldwide health issue, and that is why RehabMatters has decided to set up an entire section dedicated to arthritis issues.

For the latest arthritis news check out our news section - bringing you the most recent updates in the arthritis world.

FOR THE PATIENT

If you want to know more about arthritis, what type of treatment options are available, what rehabilitation you can do, and much, much more then take a look at our patient information section.

FOR THE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL

In these days of evidence-based medicine it is important for healthcare professionals to have access to up to date resources and the latest research.

In our resources section you will find links to key journals, details of professional organisations in the arthritis field and clinical outcome measures.

We have also set up journal searches to provide links to abstracts of newly published work in the arthritis field in our articles section.

The research and rehabilitation sections are under development but these sections will be expanding in the the near future.

The shop provides books for both patient and healthcare professional and practical rehabilitation equipment useful for people who have arthritis.

If you are interested in contributing to the arthritis issues section or you have any comments or suggestions feedback is actively encouraged so please drop us an email
